Safely Talk Back
Client: ACT Health and Community Services Directorate. Current project.
Safely Talk Back is the ACT’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural safety feedback mechanism. Karabena Consulting co-designed and piloted it with community. Supported by a digital app, it lets Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people tell services, safely and in their own way, how culturally safe their care has been. The mechanism was piloted with mental health services in 2026. Our final report sets out how services can embed it so that community feedback leads to real change in practice.
