Consultations
Karabena Consulting is trusted to go and ask, and to come back with what was actually said.
We design and run consultation processes that reach the people a policy or a program will affect: Aboriginal communities in town and on Country, Elders, the social and emotional wellbeing workforce, young people, Traditional Owner groups, students and families. We yarn, we hold sessions face to face and online, we pay participants for their time and we return what we heard in a form decision makers can act on.
Consultation done well is not a box to tick. It is how a program earns the right to exist in a community, and how the evidence base behind it becomes something community recognises as true.
The work below shows where we have done it.
